A Glimpse into the Future of Sofia’s Iconic Landmark – TZUM!

Last week, the members of the Dutch Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce were treated to an exclusive Members-Only event by our new corporate member Antika World!, hosted at one of Sofia’s most iconic buildings: TZUM!

The event started with a networking lunch at the newly renovated Largo Bar & Dinner, where members exchanged insights and shared updates on their business journeys in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Following that, we had the unique opportunity to tour the TZUM building and hear from our host, Ahmed Nasr and his team, about his extraordinary vision for the future of this historical space. Highlights from the upcoming transformation include:
– Three museums – Bulgarian, Egyptian, and Rose Oil – featuring everything from regional Bulgarian carpets to ancient Egyptian artefacts and a hands-on rose oil workshop.
– Four retail floors dedicated to global luxury brands, fashion, cafés, patisseries and more.
– Co-working spaces and a shared zone with a podcast studio and hot desks.
And coming in the next three years: Sofia’s first 7-star luxury hotel, set across three floors of the building.

We are also very proud that the Netherlands will be represented within the building through the “Oranjehoek”!

A big thank you to Ahmed Nasr from Antika World! for the generous hospitality and for sharing this inspiring vision. We are proud to support such projects that blend innovation, heritage, and opportunity – right here in the heart of Sofia!
